The method involves carrying out washing phase with air and water simultaneously, where the water and air are introduced into top and bottom parts of rigid casing (1) through a permeate port (6) and a supply port (5), respectively. Fluids in top part of the casing are released through a retentate port (9). Rinsing phase is carried out with water, where the water is introduced through the permeate port in upper part. The rinsing water is successively released in any order through the retentate port in the top part or supply port in the bottom part or simultaneously through the both ports. An independent claim is also included for a water filtration module for implementing a washing method.
