The case (10) has a single hull (11) forming a housing whose upper part is opened for receiving a barrel (2) and a trigger guard (4) of different types of handguns. Sets of interchangeable inserts are placed in the housing of the hull, where each set of inserts is ambidextrous. Each set of inserts corresponds to one type of handgun (1) for wedging the handgun in the housing. The hull is formed by injection molding of rigid plastic material. Each set of inserts comprises a rail shaped element (21) fixed inside the housing on a front wall of the hull.
