The stator (1) has an annular body comprising a set of teeth (3) distributed regularly on an interior surface and forming notches. The annular body includes coils (5) placed around each tooth. Thickness of each of the coils is less than 0.384 times of thickness of tooth. Another set of teeth (12) extends inside each tooth of the former set of the teeth from the surface of the annular body, and is in contact with external faces of the coils. The latter set of the teeth has triangular shape converging between a base situated on the surface and a truncated head (12a). An independent claim is also included for an electric motor comprising a stator.
