The method involves realizing a cylindrical tension test piece (1) with polygonal sections, where the faces of the test piece associated to segment of polygon are realized by adopting machining process. Fatigue of the test piece is stressed until disruption of the test piece. Number of the faces of the test piece is used for statistical analysis to damp the disruption based on machining parameter for cutting the faces. An independent claim is also included a cylindrical tension test piece comprising faces.
