The display case (1) has sliding doors (11, 12) moved between a closed position in which the doors close access to the interior of a product displaying enclosure (10), and an open position in which the doors provide access to the interior of the enclosure. A protecting unit protects the display case from propagation of the magnetic and/or electric waves through the doors so as to prevent the communication between a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader and a RFID chip of one product located at the exterior of the enclosure in the front of the doors in the closed position of the doors. One of the doors is partially transparent or translucent.
