The device (16) has an elastic mounting portion (32) dimensioned to elastically hold a neck (12) of a bottle (14). A retaining portion (34) is directly or indirectly supported on a head part of a cap (18). A connecting unit (36) connects the mounting portion and the retaining portion. The connecting unit and the retaining portion are formed of a single piece with the mounting portion. The connecting unit and the retaining portion are respectively arranged for allowing expulsion of the cap outside the neck during opening of a wire fitting (20) and retaining of the cap during expulsion.
