The device has a fluid injector (2) i.e. urea solution injector, provided with an injecting nose (21). Gas flow bypass units are arranged in an exhaust duct portion (1), where the bypass units are conformed to generate a gas current (C) sweeping the nose of the injector when a gas flow circulates in the portion according to a direction of given flow. The bypass units are conformed mechanically to direct all or part of a gas flow circulating in the portion toward the nose of the injector. The bypass units comprise a warp (11) localized on a wall of the portion.
