The actuator has a pump head (20) made of a biocompatible material and mounted in a shell (10). An intake extension (30) i.e. manifold, is respectively connected to an intake connection (21) of the pump head and a fluid connection (11) of the shell. A liquid limiter i.e. spiral tube (33), is mounted in a part of the intake extension, where the part of the intake extension is connected to the fluid connection of the shell. An outlet tube (40) is connected to an outlet connection (22) of the pump head.
