The invention relates to a panel antenna comprising a ground plane of a dielectric substrate, having a permittivity (ε), the substrate being disposed on the ground plane, at least one radiating source (S), each radiating source being constituted by a plurality of antenna elements, the antenna elements being arranged consecutively relative to one another and spaced apart by a distance less than a wavelength λ, the wavelength λ corresponding to the operating frequency of the antenna, the panel antenna further comprising a dielectric superstrate (12) having a permittivity (ε) greater than the permittivity (ε) of the substrate, the superstrate being disposed on the antenna elements. Antenna elements and a precise arrangement on the panel allow to obtain either a constant gain height reduction or an increase in constant height gain.
