The box (1) has walls (2) defining an inner space (3) in which an electronic board (4) i.e. printed circuit board, is housed. A damping maintenance unit (5) connects the electronic board to one of the walls. The maintenance unit includes a support rigidly fixed with the electronic board by a fixation unit i.e. screw, and a damping body connected to the wall and to the support. The support is provided with a metal section i.e. aluminum alloy section, and made of a material more rigid than material forming the damping body. An independent claim is also included for an engine of an aircraft, comprising an electronic box.
