The sensor has a sensor body (1) generating signal representing rotational speed of a wheel of a motor vehicle. A connector (4) is connected to the sensor body by a cable (5) to transmit the signal representing the rotational speed of the wheel of the vehicle, where a part of the cable is covered with a protective sheath e.g. ringed sheath. A cable portion (51) is configured so as to be elastically extended to increase length of the cable to 30 mm between a rest position and a stretched position.
