The method involves consecutively and chronologically storing two types of data with respect to each other without free space between consecutive storages in a same memory area (11) used for storing values of parameters required to monitor state of engine. Used memory storage area is tilted towards another memory storage area waiting for utilization when the used memory storage area is saturated. Data is protected in the used memory storage area until the saturation of the area and in the memory storage area waiting for utilization from the saturation of the used memory storage area.
