The assembly has a spider provided with trunnions (16), and a mounting sleeve (20) rotatingly mounted on one of the trunnions. A friction washer (33) limits axial friction between the mounting sleeve and an end surface (16a) of the trunnion. The friction washer is fixed on the mounting sleeve or the trunnion, where an axial space is provided between the friction washer and the mounting sleeve or between the friction element and the trunnion. The friction washer is fixed on a radial flange (26) of the mounting sleeve.
