Intraocular artificial implant for correcting e.g. cataract in eye to avoid need for wearing corrective vision spectacles, has support that is foldable in longitudinal direction for its installation, to avoid residual astigmatism

The implant (1) has a support (2) i.e. oblong frame, defining a longitudinal guiding direction, and a fixed optical photochromic lens (7) defining an optical axis (A) and fixed on the support. A movable photochromic lens (8) formed of a metal wire is guided in the direction, and is displaced between a spaced position in which the latter lens is laterally spaced from the former lens and an overlapping position in which the latter lens is overlapped with the former lens along the axis. The support is flexible and foldable in the direction for its installation, to avoid residual astigmatism.
