The device has a parallelepiped reversible fabric (7) that is provided with two opposite edges (8, 9) for extending along respective side walls (5, 6). The edges are provided with a fastening unit to cooperate with complementary fixing units. The fixing units are provided with recesses (10) for receiving fingers (11) so as to hold the fabric extended in an upper part of a boot (1) to mask contents of the boot. The edges are arranged on the walls.
