The device has a steel-sheet angle plate (3) fixed near a rear edge (1a) of a front wing (1) and to a body shell of a vehicle. The plate has hooks (8-10) that co-operate with corresponding openings (15-17) formed along a portion of the rear edge of the wing to allow free movement of the portion of the rear edge in a transverse direction of the vehicle along a predetermined course. The plate includes screws that cooperate with corresponding holes (21) formed on the portion of the rear edge to permanently fix the portion to the plate, while blocking the movement of the portion in the direction.
