Honeycomb structure cellular panel for use in e.g. solar panels, has perforations associated with subjacent cell to form resonator for dissipating part of acoustic pressures exerted on panel to limit vibrations of panel
The panel has a skin comprising perforations (P), where the panel is formed in hexagon form by a network of hollow cells. The skin is made of resin reinforced by carbon fiber. Each of the perforations is associated with a subjacent cell to form a resonator for dissipating a part of acoustic pressures exerted on the panel so as to limit vibrations of the panel. The perforations have various diameters ranging between ten to sixty mm. The perforations are distributed in lines and columns and distributed with density higher than three-hundred perforations to a square meter.
