The device (1) has a pile (2) fixed at bottom of water body. A sliding element (4) vertically slides along the pile using a guiding face (5). The sliding element includes floating units (6) to maintain an upper part (7) of the sliding element out of water. The guiding face of the sliding element is arranged such that the upper part of the sliding element is arranged to be raised with the water above an upper end (8) of the pile in a position, where the guiding face of the sliding element cooperates with the pile.
