Composition (A) comprises at least one oxidation base comprising 2-[[2-(4-amino-phenylamino)-ethyl]-(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-amino]-ethanol, and at least one coupler comprising 4-aminoindole derivatives : Composition (A) comprises: at least one oxidation base comprising 2-[[2-(4-amino-phenylamino)-ethyl]-(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-amino]-ethanol (I) and its addition salts, solvates and solvates of its salts; and at least one coupler comprising 4-aminoindole derivatives of formula (II), and their addition salts, solvates and solvates of their salts.
