The agent (4a) has a moving unit that is driven in an autonomous manner in a passenger compartment (1) of a vehicle. An interface unit is provided for physically interfacing the passenger compartment. An information exchange unit is provided for exchanging information with an equipment and/or an occupant in the passenger compartment. A sensing unit is provided for sensing environmental parameters. A casing is provided in a spherical shape and is made of an elastic and translucent material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a passenger compartment comprising a housing (2) a method for providing a service of interest to an occupant of the vehicle.
