The device has a female hinge part whose end is provided with a radial notch for engaging a hinge-pin, where a profile e.g. inclined, curved or discontinuous profile, of the notch is adapted to shape of an end of the hinge-pin so as to guide the hinge-pin in a cavity of the female hinge part during mounting of a joint. The female part has an outer surface that is provided with a concave portion to receive an axle of the hinge-pin for axially guiding the hinge-pin towards an inlet of the notch.
