The method involves defining a structure (11) for a radome (10) by the choice of natural materials, and determining radioelectric performances of an antenna by calculation of radioelectric transmission through the structure. The structure is modified by modifying one of geometry of the radome, dielectric stackings, and geometry of lightning arrester bands (14), according to the radioelectric performances. The steps of determination of the radioelectric performances and modification of the structure are repeated until the modified structure is consistent with the terms of use of the radome.
