The line has a temperature acquisition system (6) for acquiring temperature of exhaust gas downstream from an internal combustion engine (1). An injection system (8) injects an additive that reacts with pollutants contained in the exhaust gas. An information acquisition system (10) acquires information relative to the pollutants. A particle filter (13) is provided with an oxidation catalyst (4), and a monolith for filtering particles, and an oxidation catalyst (4). A portion of the monolith of the particle filter includes a catalyst to carry out selective catalytic reduction. An independent claim is also included for a method for treating exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine through an exhaust line.
