The backpack (1) has a loading receptacle (4) to receive a load (2), and a strap (6) for carrying the backpack at the shoulder of a user. A pre-balancing equipment (20) receives a lever (21) for compensating force opposing weight of the load. A lifting hook (22) is connected to the receptacle. A support (23) maintained by the strap includes a support base (24) supported on the shoulder of the user. The support base is flexible so as to be adapted to a contour of the shoulder. A housing (26) is formed in the strap to accommodate and hold the lever while allowing the tilting of the lever.
