The device (1) has a sensor (9) for measuring temperature (T) of an electrical power supply battery (2), and an estimator (11) for estimating a charging level (SOC) of the battery. An electronic calculation unit (12) acquires history of the battery. The calculation unit is arranged to tally torques of values of temperature and the charging level acquired at successive time intervals in a frequency table. The calculation unit is configured periodically to reset the frequency table during service life of the battery.
