The system (2) has a set of base stations (22, 24, 26) each defining a terrestrial cell (32, 34, 36) and operating in a frequency range. An evaluation unit (50) evaluates a value of emission power of a set of antennas (6) of a communication satellite (4) in another frequency range. A comparison unit (52) compares the value with threshold. A selecting unit (54) selects a range of frequencies that is to be used by the base stations when the value is greater than threshold, and emits a control signal for an adjustment unit (27) of the base station. The base station and a terrestrial infrastructure define a frequency reuse type terrestrial cellular radio communication system. An independent claim is also included for a method for suppression of interference of misalignment in a hybrid cellular radio communication system.
