The mechanism has a reversible reducing unit (230) comprising an input shaft (233) coupled with a motor (220), and output shafts (246, 246') that are coupled with a rotary element i.e. wheel. The reducing unit comprises a clutch unit to selectively couple the input shaft and the output shafts when the input shaft is rotated by the motor, and uncouple the input shaft and the output shafts when the input shaft is not rotated by the motor.
