The device has a base plate (10) comprising a support face (12) that is ready to be fixed on a tooth. An opening (22) is formed in a cover (20) along an approximately rectilinear longitudinal axis (23). A cross-section of the opening is equal to a cross-section of an arch wire (A0). A bonding unit (30) detachably bonds the cover with the base, where the cover is fastened on the base plate along direction that is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the opening. The base and the cover are made of metallic material.
