The method involves extracting two lots of grains from a cylindrical storage space by an extraction opening (34) in a sequential manner, where volume of the storage space is equal to volume of a separation space (64) comprising a first set of separation compartments (68e, 68f) and second and third sets of separation compartments. The extracted lots of grains are introduced simultaneously in a grain mixing space (66) in a grain homogenizing installation (10) using an introducing unit (76). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an installation for homogenizing grains i.e. cereals, contained in a storage space (2) a method for verifying whether grains contained in a storage space are homogenized.
