Combination comprises salicylic acid or its derivative and at least one imido-peroxycarboxylic acid derivative. Independent claims are included for: (1) an assembly comprising two compositions in two separate containers or two separate parts of the same container, where one of the composition or one of separate part comprises salicylic acid or its derivative, and the other composition or the other of separate part comprises at least one imido-peroxycarboxylic acid derivative; and (2) a cosmetic process, comprising either directly applying composition containing the combination and at least one agent, or simultaneously or successively applying a first composition comprising at least one agent capable of having an irritant and a second composition comprising a combination to the keratin material, where the agent has an irritant effect that is present in the first, second and/or a third composition.
