The vehicle has thermal and electrical traction chains comprising a thermal engine (13) and an electric machine (32), respectively, where the electric machine is attached with a high voltage battery (14). A high temperature cooling circuit (62) cools the thermal traction chain via a high temperature radiator (22), and a low temperature cooling circuit (61) cools the electrical traction chain via a low temperature radiator (20). Two valves (51, 52) couple the low temperature cooling circuit with the high temperature cooling circuit and are designed as solenoid valves or shutter valves. The engine is designed as a petrol engine or a diesel engine.
