The mirror has a flexible film (1) for reflecting sunlight (2), where a first portion of the film is wound on a roller (3), and a second portion of the film is wound on another roller (4). A spring (5) and a flat dielectric plate (6) are located between the rollers to guide a third portion of the film, where a friction pad on the film causes electrostatic adhesion of the film on the plate. The flexible film is composed of a polyethylene terephthalate sheet. A flexible and reflective metal layer of aluminum is deposited on the sheet. An independent claim is also included for a method for obtaining an outdoor solar mirror.
