The method involves determining a control signal comprising period (Tci) equal to a sampling period (TS). Each sampling period is provided with a duration (Ti) during which a state of the signal varies with a specific period. The state of the signal is provided in a constant state during the sampling period. The control signal is sent to an analog filter in two distinct paths. A sub-band of a filter is provided with specific frequency, and width of the sub-band of the filter is set as a function of the duration. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control signal generator (2) an electronic filtering system (3) a computer program product comprising instructions for performing a method for processing an analog signal.
