The device has a data acquisition unit i.e. geolocator, including a sensor carried by a person for measuring physiological data of the person. The acquisition unit includes another sensor positioned on a wheelchair for measuring physical data of the wheelchair, where the data are used to estimate information relative to comfort, a fatigue level and/or gesture efficiency of the person. The former sensor is formed of electromyographic type sensors (7) to measure muscular activity of the person, and a heart rate and respiratory frequency measuring sensor (8).
