The installation has a set of photovoltaic solar panels (2) or modules, and a set of profiles (4) comprising inverted T-shaped clamping units (5). Each clamping unit is arranged with bearing surfaces (24d', 24d'') that are located in a same plane and separated by a central web (25) extending upwardly. The profiles are arranged in two rows in the profiles, and the set of clamping units juxtaposed to the profiles is utilized for supporting and clamping the solar panels of a same column juxtaposed in the direction of slope. The solar panels are in the form of rectangular parallelopipedic structure.
