The blade (10) has a support system (12) including a wiper strip (20) and a connecting device (61) for wiper arms (34, 36). The connection device comprises parallel side walls aligned with openings and an adapter (40) that is made of a plastic. A central web is connected to lateral legs with bearing bores for a bearing shaft (58). The legs are connected with the web by film hinges. The film hinges allow the lateral legs to fold against the central web on the side walls. The adapter is made in an extended position in an injection molding process.
