Method for dynamically measuring twist defect of gear wheel tooth, involves determining twist defect from angular difference between directions of actual profiles of tooth, viewed in measuring planes
The method involves defining scan area of a profile of a side of a tooth (11M) of a gear wheel (RM), and measuring angular displacement of an axle of the gear wheel driven for the scan area by complete revolution of the gear wheel between a plane (P1) and another plane for measuring the tooth of the gear wheel. Directions of actual profiles (Pr) of the tooth in the measuring planes are determined from the movements of the axle of the gear wheel. Twist defect is determined from angular difference between the directions of actual profiles of the tooth, viewed in the measuring planes.
