PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily specify a target modification part in a source program.;SOLUTION: A difference detection device 9 according to the present invention compares a first source program and a second source program so as to detect a difference between the first source program and the second source program. The difference detection device 9 includes: an exclusion range specifying part 91 for acquiring digit specification information allowing at least one or more digits to be specified so as to specify a digit specified by the acquired digit specification information as an exclusion range from which detection of a difference is excluded, the digit specification information being generated to show a content which is input via an input part for receiving input from a user or being stored in a storage part; and a difference detection part 92 for detecting a difference which is found in the comparison between the first source program and the second source program, in a range obtained by excluding the exclusion range specified by the exclusion range specification part 91.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
