PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently regenerating an anion exchange resin which is used for regenerating an amine liquid containing carbon dioxide, SOx, NOx and other acidic components, especially an amine liquid containing carbon dioxide used in carbon dioxide in combustion gas, SOx, NOx and the other acidic components and which adsorbs these acidic components, and to provide a method of efficiently regenerating the amine liquid by using the regenerated anion exchange resin.SOLUTION: In a method of regenerating an anion exchange resin by allowing the anion exchange resin adsorbing carbon dioxide, SOx, NOx and other acidic components to be in contact with a regenerant, an aqueous solution containing carbonate ion and/or bicarbonate ion is used as the regenerant. An amine liquid is regenerated by allowing a regenerated anion exchange resin to be in contact with the amine liquid that absorbs carbon dioxide, SOx, NOx and other acidic components.
