PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for machining a workpiece, which can allow a receiving tool to be surely abutted on the workpiece, so that the workpiece can be supported stably and machined with high precision, and that a plurality of different surfaces to be machined of the workpiece can be machined continuously without changing the manner of holding the workpiece.;SOLUTION: The tool 1 for machining the workpiece is used for fixing the workpiece, when the workpiece W is machined, and holding the workpiece to be attached thereto/detachably therefrom in such a state the surfaces W, W2 to be machined of the workpiece are exposed to the outside. The tool 1 for machining the workpiece includes: a rotary tool body 2 which is supported to be freely rotated around the axis O1 thereof and rotated around the axis from a first machining position P1 of the workpiece; and the receiving tool 110 for supporting the workpiece at the first machining position.
