PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a carbon fiber composite material and a carbon fiber composite material using carbon nanofiber.;SOLUTION: The production method of a carbon fiber composite material includes steps of: (a) obtaining a first mixture by kneading an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer with a polypropylene resin and carbon nanofiber at a first temperature; and (b) kneading the first mixture obtained in the step (a) at a second temperature for one minute or longer and 20 minutes or shorter. The second temperature is higher than a melting temperature (Tm) of the polypropylene resin and within the temperature range where a polymeric component having the same compounding ratios of the ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer and the polypropylene resin in the first mixture shows a rubber-like elastic modulus. The first temperature is higher by 20°C or more and 200°C or less than the upper limit temperature of the second temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
