PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the degree of deterioration of a storage battery even if it has been already incorporated in an electric automobile, a backup power supply system, or the like without for measuring DC terminal voltage of the storage battery.;SOLUTION: A watt-hour meter of an embodiment measures the power amount supplied from an external power source to an external storage battery unit having a storage battery, determines whether an increase in the power amount supplied to the storage battery unit results in a saturation state, and then calculates the charging power amount supplied to the storage battery unit until the saturation state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
