PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently taking out energy of a wave, which can be said as stable natural energy, because in wave power generation being a power generation method of using power of the wave on the ocean, large-small change in the wave is gentler than the weather and wind and is easily predicted, electric power can be generated for 24 hours, a state of "a non-wave" does not exist even when the wave is small on the seashore faced to the open sea, and a minimum wave can be secured.SOLUTION: A power generation method includes a power generation device for rotating pulleys by receiving wave power by floats and blades attached to wires or a belt installed on the pulleys, and straightening plates for making a strong flow in a horizontal direction by collecting the wave on the ocean and guiding the flow to the power generation device. The straightening plates are also devised for generating electric power by being arranged in a place of having a flow in the specific direction such as rivers.
