PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel on which a spool reducing an inertial force due to the lightening of the spool and giving a high efficiency of rotation is loaded.;SOLUTION: In a spool used in a fishing reel, a fishline-winding body portion for winding and storing a fishline has a hollow cylindrical shape; and a rib portion joined in the inner center of the line-winding body portion around the whole circumference in the direction orthogonal to the inner surface of the cylinder has a tapered shape whose thickness is narrowed from a shaft-inserting portion for inserting the spool shaft to the line-winding body portion; and both the ends of the taper surface is connected to the shaft insertion portion and the line-winding body portion in curved shapes, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
