PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency induction continuous heating method and a high frequency induction continuous heating apparatus, capable of enhancing work efficiency in a heat treatment in accordance with a plurality of kinds of workpieces and of improving uniformity of the heat treatment for the whole of the workpieces.SOLUTION: This high frequency induction continuous heating method includes transferring a workpiece W placed on a transfer face 2a of a conveyor 2, and heating the workpiece W loaded on the transfer face 2a using high frequency induction heating coils 3 each respectively disposed on either end in the width direction of the conveyor 2 crossing the transfer direction (shown by an arrow D) at right angles. The workpiece W is turned by a specified angle around an axis extending vertical to the transfer face 2a in the middle of transferring the workpiece W to change the direction of the workpiece W. The high frequency induction continuous heating apparatus 1 employs the method.
