BRIDGE PIER OF COMPOSITE STEEL PIPE-CONCRETE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely determine a cross-sectional shape in a cross section design.;SOLUTION: A bridge pier body 4 of an inventive bridge pier of composite steel pipe-concrete structure 1 is configured so that the horizontal section thereof becomes a rectangle, and consists of a body lower part 4a, a body intermediate part 4b, and a body upper part 4c. The body intermediate part 4b is constituted of a plurality of hollow steel pipes 6 and a concrete body 7b and the body upper part 4c is constituted of a plurality of hollow steel pipes 6 and a concrete body 7c. The concrete bodies 7b, 7c are constituted of vertical reinforcements 11 erected along a vicinity of the surface side of the bridge pier body 4b, 4c, tension members 12 consisting of aramid fiber ropes wound around the outside of the vertical reinforcements 11 so as to encircle a steel pipe group consisting of the plurality of hollow steel pipes 6, and concrete 13 placed around the hollow steel pipes 6 so that the vertical reinforcements 11 and the tension members 12 are embedded. The tension members 12 are wound along the surface of the bridge pier body 4b, 4c having a rectangular cross section while being bent at corner parts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
