PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo image generation device which calculates a correction parameter for improving positioning precision of two images of a subject reflected on an image photographed by using a stereo adapter.;SOLUTION: A stereo image generation device extracts a plurality of groups of feature points corresponding to the same point on a subject from first and second regions including an image of the subject in an image photographed by using a stereo adapter 8, and uses them for calculating a correction parameter for positioning the images of the subject in the respective regions. The stereo image generation device obtains a second feature point whose evaluation value, which exists in a moving range due to dislocation of an attaching position of the stereo adapter with a position dislocated by a moving amount between the image of the subject in the first region and the image of the subject in the second region due to a structure of the stereo adapter in the second region as a base point, and which becomes higher as similarity of a first feature point with a peripheral region is higher becomes the largest, corresponding to the first feature point extracted from the first region, and sets the first and second feature points as the group of the feature points.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
