PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion measuring apparatus for measuring distortion more accurately in comparison with a conventional electric capacitance distortion measuring apparatus.;SOLUTION: The distortion measuring apparatus is provided with: a first electrode part formed into a rod shape; a second electrode part having a hole inside where the first electrode is retractively and horizontally/vertically movable; a first insulation support body for supporting the first electrode; a second insulation support body for supporting the second electrode; and an attachment member for attaching to an object to be measured the first insulation support body and the second insulation support body respectively. In the distortion measuring apparatus, at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is quartered around a central axis of the electrode. The quartered electrodes are placed horizontally and vertically with respect to the central axis and form a capacitor together with the other electrodes respectively, and the first electrode moves inside the hole of the second electrode according to distortion of the object to be measured, so that the capacitance of the capacitor changes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
