PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation reference position determination device capable of correcting density unevenness with a simple configuration while reducing a processing load, an image forming apparatus, a rotation reference position determination method, and an image forming system.;SOLUTION: A rotation reference position determination device includes a rotating body, and a sensor that outputs an output signal according to rotation of the rotating body, and determines a rotation reference position of the rotating body.
