PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device capable of notification of event activation even in a use environment where event activation notification for a user's auditory sense is not suitable.;SOLUTION: A user interface device includes: an oscillation mechanism unit for generating inaudible oscillation; operation mode control means for operating a predetermined operation mode without using audible oscillation for notification of event activation; and oscillation control means for causing the oscillation mechanism unit to generate the inaudible oscillation when a predetermined event is activated while the predetermined operation mode is operated. A user can sense the event activation by being given the inaudible oscillation that cannot be captured by an auditory sense but can be captured by a tactile sense, even in a use environment where event activation notification for the auditory sense is not suitable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
